Alice in Wonderland!

What an eventful day for Alice!

First of all, she had to hide under the bed while our friend, Leah, was here rehearsing her songs.

Then she had to come downstairs and run quickly upstairs again while my cousin, Claire, arrived to take me to the cinema to see Mirror Mirror.

After that, she went outside and, after inexplicably running inside like a 'cat' out of hell, she disappeared.

We searched...

...and searched...

...and shouted "Alice!" all around the streets of our area...

...until I returned to find her wandering along the top of the garden fence, nervously balancing and hanging on for dear life.

So...safe...

...until...

...DIY time!

We put up curtain rails, patched up walls, painted the entranceway...

...and little Alice jumped right into the paint tray and ran upstairs!

I have to admit I took quite a lot of pleasure in sitting her in the bathroom sink and rinsing her paws under the warm water!

Well, at one point today we did think she was dead...! It serves her right!
