Rapid melt

This is the section of the park that was trashed by the tornado last year. They have done a lovely job tidying up, building nice new paths and planting baby trees. Some of the clean-up was done by my neighborhood. We were organized through the city park board and descended upon the park one Saturday last Fall. Our job was to pick up small branches and twigs all day long. So I should say: WE did a nice job.
