iPad trials and tribulations

I've got a friend staying at the moment and I trying to help him overcome his fear of technology in the form of an iPad.

He is fairly unique in that he comes to it without having had any exposure to a Windows PC. We are doing pretty well.

I set him "homework" for when he gets up of a morning. He is meant to keep a note of any problems he encounters.

We had a photographic interlude this afternoon. He has discovered and so have I that it isn't easy to hold the iPad up so that photos can be taken and also avoid obscuring the camera lens on the back of the unit. It is harder when trying to take a photo in landscape format rather than portrait format.
