The writing is on the wall

We visited Kim, one of Mrs Soup's oldest (ouch!) friends, in sunny Whitstable today. Mrs Soup was there for a top quality pedicure - and was not disappointed. Kim, an interior design diva, had again revitalised her home - adding a selection of poignant comments on walls here and there. This one clicked with Mrs Soup as it was a favourite quote of Claire, her late friend and job-share partner.

Kim reminded us bad things happen, but it is how you respond that is important. Kim is one of the riders on the storm.
