Playing out

My friend Rachel and her daughter stayed overnight last night on route from West Lancashire to Hull. Rachel and I have known each other since 1977 - which is 35 years ago and feels like no time at all.

They left today after a leisurely breakfast and a good dollop of cbeebies.
