Brrrr!

Today was really wet and cold. Neither of us had really come prepared with enough warm clothes as the past few days before we arrived it had been 24 degrees. Dropped to about 11 degrees for our trip though. So we ended up going to get Mr EG a man-about-town coat i.e from a high street shop not an outdoors shop and it is not made of goretex. And then we ended up in Mothercare coo-ing at all the little people's outfits and scaring ourselves looking at the price of prams. We decided we had not come all this way to shop so we went to Prague castle. The cathedral was the most spectacular bit but the rest was a bit disappointing really and a rip off. You actually had to pay to walk down a street (Golden Lane) of little shops. Apparently Kafka lived in one of them for a bit. So what!

Drank three cups of hot chocolate today which even by my standards is a bit of an overdose but it was the only thing that seemed to warm me up. We'd walk about a bit and then have to go in a cafe to get warm (and because baby tino was lying on my bladder and I needed the loo every hour. We have nicknamed it tino as in Valentino because it is due Valentines day and we don't like calling it 'it'!!).

This pic taken in a nice little bar we stumbled on - full of locals and no English spoken and beer was less than a quid. Great!
