Old friends

My dad was out today to watch the football. The less said about that the better though. Well done to Hibs though, they were more positive and clearly wanted it more. I hope they go on to win it now.

After that we had a walk down the village for a bit then back up for some dinner. Anne came to pick my dad up at about eight-ish. We were supposed to be going to a party but by the time we got dropped off at the west end it was nearly nine and with the poor bus service out to queensferry and no car we'd have been able to stay for about an hour by the time we got there so we headed to the cinema instead to see cabin in the woods. It was a bit silly but pretty decent.

Totally by random though we ended up sat behind Ruth and Andy who we haven't seen in about three and a half years and Tim and Sarah who we haven't seen in about twelve years. It turns out Ruth and Andy have recently moved back to Edinburgh and Tim and Sarah were up visiting them from Manchester. It was great to see them all and we had about ten minutes to chat to them before the film and another ten to grab a quick drink afterwards before running for the last bus.
