The Fox Spirit, dancers of Shinto

We were lucky to have witnessed the spring festival at our local Shinto shrine. We saw the shishimai, which is a kind of lion, and that bites your head to remove all bad things from you (Yes, we had our heads bitten, and yes, it was great!). We also saw the fox spirit dancing wildly, as well as the drunken dancers, which was great fun!
