The Cherry Blossom Is A Falling.

The cherry blosson was falling at Preston Crematorium, Longridge Road, PR2 6RJ. I use this route to gain access to Brockholes Nature Reserve.

Preston Crematorium was opened in February 1962. At present it serves Preston and the surrounding area by carrying out approximately 1600 cremations per year.
Memorial Trees - The memorial Tree Scheme was introduced to give family and friends the opportunity to provide a long lasting memorial in peaceful and pleasant surroundings. Trees of the highest quality are planted along the crematorium drive. In front of each tree is a hardwood post with the top cut to a 45 degree angle. A bronze memorial plaque with the chosen inscription is affixed to the top of the post. Attached to the side of the post is a bracket with a metal flower vase to accommodate your own personal floral tribute. Trees available include Rowan, Cherry, Lime, Maple and Ash.
