Acer

I managed to get quite a bit of time in the garden today between showers - which was nice! I managed to get some plants in the ground, and weeded several areas. There's a frightening amount of bindweed roots that can be dug out every time you turn over the soil. Mostly these come shooting in from next door where they're far from enthusiastic about gardening

This acer is in a large pot outside the back door, and this year I've planted some stock and sweet peas in the pot, hopeing they'll provide some scent and the sweet peas will scramble up through the tree
