Meeting Ungweru

Today our fourteen students had a get together with Ungweru youth for some food, chats and fun at their place in Luwinga. They had a great exchange of information and ideas and it is always a great occasion.
The ungweru group work in St Agustine's Parish and are a Community Based Organisation, working with a board headed by Fr John Ryan who is Irish, a resident of Malawi for 30 years and Professor of Mathematics at Mzuzu University. He also works as a priest in the parish.

Ungweru engages with Communities, identifying needs, facilitating community participation in projects and training committees. They are also involved in child protection issues.

Wells for Zoe work with the group on common interest projects.
