This is my grandmother's typewriter. It is a vintage 1920 Underwood portable. She bought it used, in about 1930, to take with her to teachers' college. She turned 95 last week, and she is still as sharp as a tack. She hand writes her letters to me, but she's much better at keeping up with her correspondence than I am. It shames me to think how behind I am with e-mail.
