Balls. I needs more practice.

I am not sure what these seed pods are or what has made a home inside them.

I collected my new lens at the weekend and today I had a small window of opportunity to try it out. As you can see, I need much more practice.

I did take some even worse pictures of some fungi and some insects before returning it to the case and heading to the woods on my bike in search of bluebells. The bluebells are still a couple of weeks away from their best and the ground was white with anenome instead. I also found a few primroses and orchids and wished that I had my new lens with me.

This one sums up my day welll. Tomorrow is another day.
