Castletown Heritage Society

This has been my haunt for three days of basket making, The Castlehill Heritage Centre or also know as The Castletown Heritage Society. They run lots of events from basket making to dry stone dyking! have Archeology events and painting classes. They run an under floor heating system that burn local peats and wood chip, and have an exhibition every year that changes enough to make it worth going even if you saw last years. The best bit is that the staff know so much and love to tell you more.
