Five Strings

I met A today. He plays the quinton, a five stringed, bowed instrument, a kind of treble viola, combining the features of a violin and a viola. It has an additional E string. It got my f/1.4 treatment.

I liked his case, made specially to carry both his quinton and violin. He has a rather nice bow too, might Blip that if I meet him again.
