The 'sleepy' gondolier

Well, he wasn't technically asleep - he just had his eyes closed when he spoke. However his short but well paid journey back and forth across the great canal would probably get boring after the 50th time each day so I wouldn't be surprised if he could in fact do it with his eyes closed.

Venice was once again lovely, such a shame about the rain and the fact I managed to have a nasty accident which has broken my beloved D450 and left me camera-less! My blips are unfortunately not going to be such nice quality for a while....
