Sticky Buds

Today was wet, followed by sunshine and showers.

April showers that bring May flowers.

Went out looking for signs of Spring, and found these lovely sticky Horse Chestnut buds which had just opened.

Brought back memories of childhood when we would place them in a vase to watch them open day by day.

Nostalgia eh! I'll be sprouting peas in jam jars next!
