Woodland plants, Erythronium enjoy a woodsy soil and a semi-shaded position here. This one is a vigorous hybrid which is relatively cheaply available. The bulbs dislike being dried out so check they are firm and not shrivelled before buying. There are lots of different species and forms, all having this distinctive 'Turks Cap' appearance.
