Cambridge Rooftops

Today we went to Addenbrookes hospital, so we left home early; this was the rearranged appointment with the Lung Function clinic. We were early for our 1000 hours appointment and the test was carried out early, followed by the normal routine x-ray, we then waited until 1200 noon to see the doctor! This is one of clinics that GOG has to visit only once a year as there are not really any problems.

Then we went to John Lewis for lunch, not as good as usual and I sent back two plates of cold fish and chips, so they had to cook some more. This is not their usual standard so I am not sure what went wrong, but the fish was cold and the chips tasted as though they had been kept luke-warm somewhere for a while. The second lot were perfect, except I found some bones in my fish, again unusual.

Today's blip shows some of the Cambridge rooftops and was taken from the glass lift after lunch in John Lewis.

By then it was the middle of the afternoon and we went to Scotsdales Garden Centre where we bought some more shrubs for the garden. Just as we arrived home there was a hail storm; it has alternated all day between rain and sunshine.

I have just come online to load my blip and discovered that yesterday's ladybird hit the spotlight page sometime today; many thanks everyone for your comments and stars.
