At the VeloCity presentation this afternoon there was an abundance of bunting, maps and aspiration.

The amount of information contained in the maps was incredible: not just about geographic spaces but about the make up of communities across the city. They illustrated real differences.

This map profiles households in an area against a range of groups from shades of grey to town centre singles, urban sophisticate and upper echelons with others inbetween. It aims to help explain likely behavioural characteristics .
