Book Sculpture

Today I was visiting the library of the National Museum of Scotland and noticed this book sculpture by an unknown artist.

This paper sculpture is ninth in a series of ten which have been left in Edinburgh literary institutions by an anonymous artist between March and November 2011. This sculpture was found in the Grand Gallery of the National Museum of Scotland on 23rd November 2011 and is now part of the library collection.

The art work shows a Tyrannosaurus Rex escaping from the pages of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's
The Lost World .

All ten sculptures are accompanied by a message tag. This sculpture arrived with the message:
