Morning Cup

A time to think. Morning, coffee, reading and hoping to gain understanding.
This morning I was reading from Judges six in the bible, the New King James version. Gideon had just been visited by the angel of the Lord and as he set his sacrifice, before the angel, on a rock, the angel touched the meat and the unleavened bread with His staff and flames came out of the rock and consumed the offering.

Last evening I listened to this guy, Neil Tyson on www.wimp.com and he was talking about how we are looking for intelligent life somewhere in this universe that is like us. Well, I think we have it right here in our midst but we just cannot see them. Angels are all around us but we need spiritual eyes to see.

I had an experience some years ago at a meeting in Portsmouth, England and in the spirit I could see the hall full of angels and some were carrying our Godly praises to the throne of God and mixing them with the praises of the angels of heaven. I no more than had that vision and some guy runs up to the stage where the worship was taking place and stops everything to tell us all exactly what I had just seen in the spirit. Talk about confirmation. That was awesome.

We serve and are children of an intelligence that is so far more intelligent than we are. This book, the bible, has all the answers to all the questions we could ever think up.
