The day my Super Friend came to stay

And there we had it, as if there had been no desperate lengths of time between our last overlapping paths; cackling + hackling away we went, capturing stories from one another, reunited at last. I, famished for news from that old land I've not seen in so long and K.Dogg eagerly extracting tales from this fine existence in the montagnes. The beauty of such blissfully close friendship is one of the things I miss the most; there were so many things we could've done on that first drizzly afternoon that she arrived but when it came down to it, there was nothing either of us wanted to do more than curl up in bed and have a great afternoon cuddle + a kip; a beautiful regeneration station in order to make room for seven exquisite days of collectable carnage that was sure to slice it's sweet susceptible way to the surface.

First, a venture into the forest before the night wore in, providing an opportunity for Karmel to salivate over some boulders she wouldn't mind clambering over [pictured]; "Anna it's like a puzzle, a great physical puzzle!" We bought cherry beers from the SuperU + made perches next to the violent defrosted mountain river; it seemed there could never be enough available moments to make space for everything that we wanted to say. Yabbering + blabbering until we realised we were turning blue, so I took the opportunity to introduce my dear friend to the best local French joint in town, Le Slalom. Topping up heat by slurping on ragingly hot + strong rum coffees, we saw the evening roll down the mountains and take us away, with excited murmurings about everything we could do.
