Range of things to eat for lunch

At the canteen.

Absolutely enjoying the variety of food to eat each day at our canteen. It's nice that dishes in Japan are served in a rather small portion, so you can enjoy different things to eat in a meal. But I think I'm eating a lot more than I was in Scotland. I need to put back the kilo I've lost there!

btw, the pork on top of rice is cooked with ginger, soy sauce, sake kind of stuff. I cooked this kind of food many times for myself while in Scotland, and I like the gentle taste of it. The small dish on the right of that is made by leftovers during the production of tofu (which are made by soybeans). They're mentioned to be "very" healthy to eat.
