Hyacinth

I love hyacinths and have two pots in the porch so that, coming home at night, I'm greeted with this wonderful perfume.

Went this evening to visit a pal who's recovering from major surgery. He's looking well and making good progress, having been discharged after just six days. The length of his hair caused me some consternation, mind you..
