St. Austell Brewery

This is the place where we are holding the Hen & Stag night a couple of weeks before the Wedding. (Now no-one can say that we can't organise a P...S up in a Brewery!!)
This is the Old Racking Machine! The man next to it is Mr Walter Hicks the man who started this brewery off many years ago.
After a long proccess to the Fermenting Vessel the beers last place was the Racking Machine where it was syphoned off into the barrels then a bung was placed in it ready for its journey to some den of iniquity somewhere (the local pub being one of them I suspect).
There was a lot of pics I wanted to put here but this is not the place for a history lesson after all, but I loved the copper Racking Machine most of all.
