Wall Shadows

These are shadows cast from the condominium parking lot just northeast of our house. The sun at 13:45 is reflected from the window of a parked car through our kitchen window, onto the wall including the door of our coat closet. The bell-like shadow is from a light near the kitchen window. On the left is our bird clock, showing European birds; viewed large you see a chaffinch on the top right, with a robin and a hoopoe below.

This obviously belongs to my shadows series. This one was taken last June at dawn, with the sun directly casting a shadow on the same closet door. As you'll see, I've used my hand to dramatize many of these interior shadows cast by the sun's light reflected from outside.
