Salut VII

After one and a half hour of waiting we entered the Catacombs of Paris. A formidable and a more cautios place.

The bones of about six million people lie there. They were exhumed from the parisian cemeteries in the late 18th and the young 19th century, because the parisian were afraid about epidemic plagues.

I was and I am very impressed.
