4-Year old Sam got the surprise of his life last Saturday afternoon when Papiss Cisse (The Newcastle United Number 9) arrived at his house in Bedlington to see the football-mad young 'un.

Back in January, shortly after the Senegalese Superstar had signed for Newcastle United, Sam decided to send the striker a 'Welcome to Newcastle' card. Papiss was so taken by the gesture that he arranged a secret visit to the home of the young lad to say thank you.

Papiss said, "The welcome I have received in Newcastle has been incredible. Going to see Sam and his family was just my way of saying a special thank you to a young fan who showed genuine kindness in welcoming me to a new country and new club."
