In fine feather

Not to be outdone by her brother yesterday, here's Daughter of Mine, complete with new feather earrings.

The Family set off on an impromptu trip to Brighton after lunch today. We don't often go shopping as a family - preferring instead to chill out at weekends at home, with friends or family, or out and about walking or cycling - but by leaving it until the afternoon, it didn't seem too busy.

We had our own missions, each with a specific shop in mind, so we didn't need browsing time. For Husband of Mine - an 8-string ukulele (early birthday present); Daughter - clothes & accessories (spending birthday vouchers), Son - goalie gloves (last pair lost) and me, a zoom lens for my new camera (yes, already!).

So we were all in fine feather - in good form; in good spirits - upon our return home. Missions accomplished - and the evening ahead of us to play with our new toys!
