HMAS Ovens

The former Royal Australian Navy Oberon Class submarine Ovens, is a 1960s origin vessel. It is now a permanent exhibit at the adjacent WA Maritime Museum.

It is worth a visit and tour if you are in Fremantle

Fremantle was a major submarine base in WWII with around 170 American, Dutch and Australia subs operating almost 420 patrols during the war.
