Promise of Early Summer Flowers

I spotted these little furry flower buds this morning, promising some early summer flowers, and thought it would be a good idea to practice using my camera's A-DEP (Auto DoF) feature. I have not really come to terms with how it works yet, and have not had that much success with it. Thios shot is the result of half an hour playing around.
