East meets East in Spitalfields Market.....

I have always wanted to visit Spitalfields as my Grandmother worked for a Silk Merchant there and her family may have been Hugeunots who escaped from Flanders and settled in Norfolk. We got there at the end of the afternoon when the stallholders were packing up. I saw this lovely silk jacket and just couldn't resist the temptation. Spitalfields is everything I thought it would be and more.... can't wait to return and do some more exploring.....
