Lazy morning. Dry with sunny periods so headed over to Kilmacolm and walked round Glen Moss.

It is owned and managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. Apparently it was flooded in the late 19th Century when winters were more severe and the water froze to give the locals the opportunity to curl on the ice. Now the SWT maintain it as a wet land.

In the photo there is a heron in flight with 2 swans in the background, one sitting on a nest. In front tufted ducks.
