Gade Avem

By Mor

oh happy day

Opening birthday gifts from the Nissanis after enjoying a beautifully rich chocolate soufle, ice cream, spiked cider and home made foccacia with a crack dip (which I shamelessly acquired the recipe for). My family is the best.

"teedchadshee" is one of my favorite (and utterly untranslatable) words- said after receiving or buying something. It comes from the root "new", conjugated like a reflexive verb and to me it means become new with your new thing and describes that feeling you get when getting something you love or have wanted for a long long time.
