First Cut Is The Deepest

Thanks so much for all the comments and hearts for yesterday's ewe and lamb. I was delighted when it made it onto the Spotlight page.

A busy day in the garden today! We have 3 gardens to look after so we started last weekend doing the grass of one of them. Today it was the turn of ours and The Mothers. The first cut is always difficult with the grass green vegetation having grown so much over winter.

When I was doing the bit under the bird's cherry I notice how nice and blue the sky was beyond. I'm borrowing a 50mm f/1.4 prime lens. It gave me a nice sharp result but the birds cherry is a little bit ordinary compared to the cultivated cherry trees so I used a little editing.
