Spring on the Marsh

Went for a walk to Belle Isle, super windy as usual! The wild flowers are beginning to come into their own - in a week or so it will be a sea of yellow. Not much happening otherwise, except that I saw a beautiful question mark butterfly feeding on blackthorn blossoms just as I was leaving. I'm hoping that the early spring will lead us to a bumper crop of butterflies this year.
