Doors Open Day...

Today was Edinburgh's Doors Open Day. It is where a pretty big selection of buildings around the city open their doors for the public.

I had big asperations of going to see Stewart Melville College, The Royal Society and the Anatomy College and Theatre.

Getting to Edinburgh with 2 children however is a bit of a mission so we only managed Stewart Melville here. Very interesting seeing their assembly auditorium that has newly opened. They managed to maximize the space they had before by digging down a floor into the cellars under the assembly room that they just guessed were there.

Had a meeting at Ocean Terminal so we decided to park there for free and get the bus up. Little did we realize, the journey back to the car was a little harder as the buses back from the centre of town were ram packed so even though we had the single buggy, there was no danger we were getting on it. Mrs TFP took Bethany down on the bus and I half walked, half jogged down to Leith with Ewan in the buggy.

Guess how long that took me?
