Sketch no 59 - the empty shoes

When I arrive home from work, I often don't know if I'm coming home to an empty house or not, or if indeed I am the first one through the day. However there are always little signs which tell you the lie of the land. These discarded shoes, left always by the side of table, with a pair of empty contact lense cases not far away immediately let me know that my partner has been and left, and will be somewhere out in the the middle of nowhere on his bike :)
