Ransoms

Volunteering, still digging over the garden. It is getting easier with working it over. Another volunteer told me today that nothing had been done to it for quite a number of years. I can believe that!

One of the Mallards had at least 12 ducklings. This afternoon she arrived at the small pond with them following behind but we only counted 9. We think the heron got 3 of them.

After I had finished with the garden for this week, walked up to the woods and took photos of wood anemone, bluebells, marsh marigolds and ramsons (wild garlic). Thought this was the best one. The wild garlic is not as strong as garlic, lovely in salads.
