Comedy and Tragedy

This porcelain theatre mask ornament was a gift long ago and has hung on a peg on the mirrored hall rack ever since. Over the years it has been joined by many colored ribbons, Mardi Gras beads and other odd items -- the rack is a little memory bank of sorts. The light on the desk threw these highlights onto the mask and prompted the decision for today's shot.
