landscape

The weather didn't help in today's blipquest, but I saw this at the local arts centre which did the trick. It's a stack of hundreds of paper thin porcelain sheets fired with bits of wire through it. It's part of a series which are displayed in an old wire rack - and draws the viewer in, with faint images of insects and part burned out text. The artist is inspired by landscape/memory/collecting. It's an interesting idea - abstract landscapes.

I hope it stops raining soon.
