ANZAC Day

The 25th April is ANCAC (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps) Day in Australia and New Zealand.  I set off early to get the sun rise over the Cenotaph.  The New Zealand Flag was proudly flying.  A truck load of young people turned up, just as well I was sitting down, as they set off a couple of explosives, which gave me a real shock.  The ANZAC Services in Wanaka are held later in the morning.
