I ? Ferns

This was taken early this morning on my way to mangle more Java. There were a lot of them doing that unfurling thing that they do so well. I find it fascinating (I blipped them doing the same thing last year).

An interesting day on the Java course - if you're interested in computer stuff there's a little explanation at the end, otherwise we'll skip straight to the Song In German :-

Today we were doing database stuff in the Java course. I knew there would be problems as soon as the lecturer mentioned the word "null". In German "null" means the number zero but in the Land of Databases it means something completely different. It took a while for it to sink in. I always think it's a very Zen concept.
