Wormfinder General

I'd hoped to get out today, even if for a short time, but I played it all wrong and although it said it would be brighter and drier after 4pm, it was not so. I changed my plans and did a bit of painting instead. It was a good day for birds in the garden and as I went to put out the bird food, there was an immediate influx of the usual suspects. This blackbird was front of the queue, and as soon as all the mealworms were gone, he went round the garden and collected huge numbers of earthworms. Seems like the awful weather is good news for our feathered friends!
