Well, the local boat rental companies seem to think it's summer whatever the weather has to say on the matter. It also looks as if this year Scudamores has traded in their old wooden canoes for aluminium ones. Of course, the great thing about an aluminium canoe is that you can safely build a small fire inside it...which means that you really can have your kayak and heat it.
