Christmas Eve

There's that wonderful hum of anticipation building. Mum is staying with us for Christmas and we are loving having her with us to celebrate. I made some hot chocolate spoons to go with each present under the tree and although I do say so myself, they look mighty fine. Hope they taste good too.

Murron and I had a memorable moment at the candlelight service in Haddington last Sunday. The elderly lady reading about the wise men, enthusiastically read that they came bearing gifts of Gold, Frankenstein and Myrrh. We immediately looked at each other and mouthed incredulously 'Frankenstein?!' and couldn't stop giggling. I love moments like that.
