Surf Riding

A spin and a splash before breakfast on Belhaven Sands, East Lothian.

Big Spray.

The great big Surly Larry tyre I fitted a couple of days ago hadn't had a proper outing, so with the sun shining this morning I headed along the beach. The tide was going out - low tide at midday today - so there was plenty of firm sand to whizz along. Not that firm sand is much required with a 3.8" tyre...

On the way back I risked the poor camera again by wrapping the strap round my wrist and hanging low as I ploughed through the waves. Yee, and very definitely, Ha!

Some more from a brilliant start to the day on Flickr.

Oh, and the terns are back :)
