Back and Forth thru time

Lionheart

Evening all,

Today was the day of the Syrian crocodile killer, who we English venerate as a saint.
( I know we've pinched him but, that really has been the cornerstone of the British Empire up until the end of Victoriana hasn't it?)

Anyhoo, this was going to be a blip full of sheep based puns, such as:

"ewe wouldn't belive what i saw today," and,

"my two best friends are called Ewenice and Baa-rbara",

or possibly off colour jokes about Welshmen and sheep, but no.

i have moved on from that, and am wistfully thinking about Robert Browning's idyllic poem of a romantic, perfect England, which was fading into memory even as he wrote it, through the thick smog of Victorian mechanisation and industrial development.

So no time for Sheep based puns at all, and having bleated on for long enough for you to recognise a dyed in the wool romantic, i shall get me wellies on, and be orf!!

night all

Kate Bush
