Life thru a blippin' lens

Goodbye Majorca

After a week of fun and frolics, it was time to say goodbye and prepare for the journey home.

We arrived on time in Glasgow Airport at around 1:45am, where we were met by Paula and Greggor who gave us a lift home. All was going fine until Paula's car broke down on the M8.

So standing in the cold by the side of the motorway in what can only be described as holiday clothes for an hour while we waited on the RAC to come out was fun.

The guy told Paula she wasn't covered to be towed back to Edinburgh, but only to a safe location, so we were dumped in Glasgow Fort's shopping car park, where we waited in the car with no heating for another hour or so until Paula's Dad came to rescue us.

Finally got back to the flat at 6:20am, where I headed straight to bed with a hot water bottle.

Ahhh... Home.. At last.
